Press Release Summary: The top 11 participants identified 195 homeowners with
potential safety hazards and areas where they could reduce energy consumption

Press Release Body: Dayn Benson, VP of Corporate Development for Dryer Vent Wizard
(DVW), Dry Clothes, Safe Homes, recognized 11 appliance repair companies nationwide
for their efforts in keeping consumers safe from dryer fires and reducing energy
consumption with the Dryer Vent Safety Advocate Award.

As part of a national contest sponsored by DVW that ran from April 1st through June
30th , 2008, the award recognizes the appliance repair companies who created the
most consumer awareness of dryer vent safety and energy savings with a free meal
once a month for an entire year.

"When consumers find their dryer taking more than one cycle to dry a load, they
assume it's mechanical when the real problem is lint accumulation in the dryer vent
causing the dryer to work inefficiently and become susceptible to a dryer fire,"
says Dayn Benson, VP of Corporate Development for Dryer Vent Wizard.

The winner of the contest is County Wide Appliance Service in Syracuse, New York who
identified the most dryer vent safety hazards and partnered with John Stevenson of
Dryer Vent Wizard Upstate New York from April through June to address them. Jim
Ours, General Manager of County Wide and has worked there since 1968. "Our
customers appreciate the specialty in his expertise especially helping us make our
customer aware of safety issues in the laundry room. In addition, our technicians
can focus on the technical aspects of dryer repair instead of venting," says Ours.

The top 11contest participants identified 195 homeowners with potential safety
hazards and areas to reduce energy consumption. Contest Honorable Mentions are as
follows:

. Same Day Service in Woburn, Massachusetts

According to the U.S. Fire Administration there are an average of 15,000 dryer fires
in the U.S. with an approximate $88 million in property, damage 15 deaths and 400
injuries annually. "Failure to clean" was cited as the leading factor contributing
to clothes dryer fires in residential buildings. Similar reports by the Consumer
Product Safety Commission, (CPSC), confirm annual maintenance of dryers and dryer
vents as a home safety issue lacking consumer awareness.
